This month’s luncheon focuses on a key time of year to get the word out about the importance of supporting locally owned independent businesses and keeping more money in our local economy. As Portlanders are deluged with enticements to blindly consume at this time of year, we can take the opportunity to create an alternative to the hysteria and create a more meaningful time of year that emphasizes community and encourages folks to have a good time meeting friends and neighbors, while supporting their neighborhood businesses!
We will have copies of the new Buy Local Week coupon booklet available to take and put at your place of business and a panel of experts who will discuss ways to use the Local First materials in your holiday promotional strategy as well as leveraging all of our businesses together to promote Buy Local Week (Dec 1-9).
This luncheon is an opportunity for local businesspeople to network and learn about a variety of sustainable business practices. Enjoy local Hot Lips Pizza and salad. 11:30am-1:00pm at CubeSpace 622 SE Grand Ave. (Parking at US Bank lot at SE 6th and Alder).
Cost:This event is FREE this month but you must RSVP. Contact Robyn Shanti or call her at 503 232-2943 to register by Monday, Nov.12.
Heya! I just wanted to ask if you ever have any trouble with hackers?
My last blog (wordpress) was hacked and I ended up losing a
few months of hard work due to no back up. Do you have any solutions to prevent hackers?
Greetings! Very helpful advice within this post!
It is the little changes that produce the greatest changes.
Thanks for sharing!
