Hello, ecoShuttle blog readers!  For this week’s blog, I thought it prudent to introduce myself as the recently appointed blog author.  My name is Mark Klosterman (though if Microsoft Word’s spellcheck had its way, my name would be Mark Lobsterman!), and I am a transplant from the great state of Ohio.  I am a graduate of Ohio University (2006), with a degree in video production and film.   When I’m not working, I enjoy working out, reading, and playing guitar.  I pride myself on practicing green habits such as recycling; reusing things that might normally just get tossed into the garbage, and biking everywhere instead of owning a car.

I trace my roots to ecoShuttle from witnessing its inception in a small apartment among friends, and joined the company myself as a driver in September of 2009.  It has been exciting to watch the company grow over the years, while still maintaining its initial focus of being as environmentally friendly as possible.  I personally enjoy a work experience much better, when I know the company with whom I’m working is committed to the same environmentally friendly principles I am.

As regards the blog, each week I will delve into varying subjects such as new developments concerning the environment, ecologically friendly transportation, as well as many other relevant topics.  I highly encourage anyone to comment or continue the dialogue of a blog subject.

Finally, I offer my condolences to Duck football fans; it was one heck of run!  Wishing you all the best in the New Year,

Mark
