Behind the loyalty of Jesse Yun, the current owner, we hold the most dedicated group of managers who believe in creating systems and procedures for our 24 full-time employees and 12 part-time employees, most of whom are drivers.
Mr. Yun has over ten years working in the local Portland Metro business community. His entrepreneurial, outside-the-box thinking has aided three small businesses to go from Mom and Pop's to leaders within their respective industries. He holds a BBA from Ohio University, with a focus on Management Information Systems. He maintains overall business strategy and handles the financials of the company, including accounts receivable and cash management. Mr. Yun ensures that all drivers are trained properly on safety, customer service and DOT compliance. Jesse is a leader who looks to establish a team environment and win-win solutions for the customer.
Fiona has over ten years of experience with Marketing, and she excelled at a past position selling out tickets for bands and festivals. She has directed and organized on and off University campus campaigns, gathering over 300 people at a time, and acting as a keynote speaker and media relations coordinator. Fiona has a degree in Art History from Ohio University and has organized artist symposiums and gallery functions.
Our Corporate Safety Officer, Lisa Holcomb Krahl, has received several Awards, accolades and certifications spanning her career. Her familiarity of a large sampling of several Transportation dispatching programs utilized through a variety of both passenger and property carrying applications, gives her the edge in adaptability to be able to not only quickly learn any current programs, but train her team and bring them up to speed quickly.
She has been a spokesperson and a liaison for representation of her Company and to the Portland City Council. She served as a four-term member of the executive Board of Directors in her organization, as well as a nine-year term Safety Board President.
She is a national trainer for both the National Safety Council and Smith System training programs. She has just over 1.6 million accident-free miles and makes the safety focus of our company her primary concern by overseeing all aspects of training.
She served on a Review Committee for transportation issues surrounding specific challenges brought up in the Veterans Administration Transportation program. She and her team are thorough in their execution of the latest patient sensitivity training, ADA sensitivity training and safety training currently available.
Mr. Kelly is certified in OSHA training and a tire expert having managed at a local tire shop for 10 years. Mr. Kelly is a Pastor for an impoverished community and an Army veteran. He has nearly 20 years of management, sales and service for Patterson Tires. He was also the safety coordinator at Kroger for over eight years.
Mr. Kelly is responsible for DOT and driver compliance, OSHA compliance and is the primary training manager. He schedules ride along visits and safety audits for each driver. He works closely with the CEO, General Manager and shop manager to ensure work orders are processed in a timely manner. On a daily basis, he will communicate with fleet maintenance regarding bus availability, including OOS and scheduled maintenance issues. He is also responsible for morning dispatch, scheduling, obtaining permits and reservations.
On a daily basis, Mr. Kelly confirms shifts are staffed and charter/route information is current, and communicates the logistics/route planning of each charter service with each driver. He also assists the CEO in managing of couple of the larger route clients. He oversees tally sheets are entered correctly and submits to client accounts at month end. As the scheduling manager, his goal is to minimize overtime and ensures quality scheduling based on time with the company and strengths of each driver.
Our longest tenured employee and handles all reservations and assists Jesse with route sales. Mr. Klosterman started as a charter bus driver, and his customer service skills enabled a promotion to reservation specialist. Mr. Klosterman takes the majority of inbound reservations. He is excellent on giving insight to the client as to how to make an itinerary or specific location work. He is very effective at selling the value proposition, mission and vision of ecoShuttle. He is proactive to giving wineries, restaurants or other entities notice that we are arriving with a bus to avoid parking issues or inadequate staffing. He sends out accurate contracts, briefs the drivers 24-48 before their service and debriefs important details with drivers before following up with the clients. He uses tact and diplomacy if a complaint should arise.
Mr. Klosterman also represents the company through all forms of social media. He writes the company blog, co-write the newsletter, and also represent the company at networking and trade show events. He also catalogs ROI for current marketing, and potential marketing and advertising for meetings with the CEO.
