Pickathon Shuttle~last chance for pre-sale tickets, where to catch the bus and more…

The time is now, the place is here…er, well, Pendarvis Farm actually. Now, how do you get there conveniently, safely, and with a low carbon-footprint? You take the max to the ecoShuttle, of course! In addition to a great ride in a biodiesel bus, you also have the chance to win one of several fabulous prizes, and of course you could meet some new friends as you travel to Pickathon in sustainable style!

Many have bought their bus passes already, saving them money and reducing boarding time. Those who pre-order will also be allowed to board first, which reduces your chance of having to wait for the next shuttle if the bus fills. Bus passes are on pre-sale until 11:59pm PST on 8/4/2010. You can request your tickets by following this link:  http://www.ecoshuttle.net/index.php/pickathon10/

For those unable to purchase their passes in advance, you can still buy your passes at the bus. Cost for passes at the door is $7. Cash only.

When you receive your passes, you will get a paper ticket with a sticker on it. The sticker will go on your festival wristband so you don’t have to worry about hanging on to a ticket all weekend. Simply show the driver your stickered wristband and they will allow you to ride the shuttle as many times as you please all weekend long!

ecoShuttles will not be able to fill beyond capacity in order to keep the ride safe for all.  Luckily, there are plenty of places to go indoors at the Clackamas Town Center (no purchasing necessary! Subject to mall hours). Music and friends should help keep you occupied at the farm 🙂  Your drivers will do their best to get everyone on board, giving priority seating to those who purchased bus passes in advance. There will be room on board the bus to store a reasonable amount of camping gear. Your driver will use their own discretion when allowing (or not) bikes on board. There are bike boxes at the Clackamas Town Center Max Station. See the link at the bottom of the page for more information on the Clackamas Town Center stop. This station is on the GREEN LINE-you can take this directly from PDX!

The Pickathon Shuttle will pick up at Clackamas Town Center, in the parking lot just south of the Max stop. The shuttle schedule is posted below in addition to photos of where to catch the shuttle for your reference. Please understand that we will do our best to stay on schedule, but the bus may be delayed at times due to heavy traffic, ridership, or other unforseen factors. If the shuttle is more than 15 minutes late for the pick up time, call 503-548-4480 for an update on arrival times.

Get off the Max at Clackamas Town Center and walk down the ramp to the south of the parking structure. Walk down the ramp towards the mall. The parking structure should be on your right.

When you arrive at the intersection, take a left. The picture shows the view as you turn to your left, you should walk south on the sidewalk in the direction of the orange fire-hydrant. You will see two trees coming up on your left hand side. Walk towards them.

The shuttle will pick up here. Two trees provide you with shade and a large rock offers a comfy seat 🙂
